my old roommate bird moved out this weekend while i was in canton celebrating my mom's birthday, and my new roommate for the summer nate moved in today! well he moved in minus his bed, which means that he is sleeping on the floor tonight. kidding, he is sleeping with me.
kidding AGAIN, he is staying at his parents till tomorrow when he can get an awesome truck to transport.
guess this is the last night i can roam around in my underwear before the boy moves in! gah!
so initially i was going to write this whole long witty post about bird moving out and nate moving but i decided against it because i got tired while spending all sunday evening putting together a complicated tv stand - all by myself thank you! girl power at it's finest.
unfortunately though i put together the whole tv stand but i can't figure out how to get the new tv connected to the dish cable. hopefully nameless will come to my rescue and tell me how to work our jimmy rigged dish.
i hope everyone had a great weekend like i did and holy crap, i don't believe it is june already!
only 12 more days to poo poo's wedding! and poo poo darling, in the great words of kevin mccallister, "this is it! don't get scared now!" ; )

I have a sneaking suspicion boy roomies aren't that opposed to underwear'd wanderings through the apartment, though you may want to confirm this with him.

I can't believe it's June and the year is half over!!! I'm still recovering from family overload over the holidays. Oh well, the pool's open!!! There's no better cure than drinking Malibu smoothies at pool.
It must be that when the month changes over the weekend, the month feels short or something. Everyone I've talked to feels like May flew by. What gives?

ooooh pretty tv stand! i was super excited about putting mine together recently too, although i realized after the fact that maybe i should have put it togethere where i wanted it to BE, because DAAAAANG was it heavy. and sitting in the middle of the living room.

Completely off-topic, but 'Bye Bye Birdie' was one of my FAVE movies as a child. My cousins and I would sing and dance along to it... Uh huh.
