karen neuburger (KN) started out simply making comfy pajamas in her basement. little did karen know that she was about to instantly be catapulted into the big leagues once oprah (the oprah) featured her pajamas on her famous favorite things show.
those ridiculously soft pajamas were the start of a whole KN empire including men, women, kids, home and gift lines. and socks, don't forget socks.
i'm lucky to be giving away four pairs of the KN chenille feet treats cupcake socks. how cute are these? they are cozy too, i'm wearing the blue bell pair right now.

I'm kind of upset you didn't say you were giving away "5 foot" socks. I wanted someone else to feel like an idiot!
Well, seeing as my new home office has some kind of insulation problem, I should probably be wearing socks or slippers right now. Instead, my little tootsies are bare and shivering to death under the desk. Also quite cold are my hands and nose (irrelevant, but true).
It's not so bad though, because when I get in bed, I can warm my icy feet of doom on my husband's warm legs. Unfortunately, he generally feels that this is torture and a crime against humanity, and demonstrates his passionate opinion by screaming at me to get my freezer burned toes on my side of the bed. For some reason, that never stops me from trying to use him as a foot warmer.
So, basically, if I won these socks, Izzy would be the real winner :). You could warm both our hearts, my feet and his nighttime experience all at once.

So, this morning, I put a little lotion on my super-dry feet. Then I snuggled them into my super thick wool socks. And pulled my (fake) fur lined boots over them. Look, I had to walk the dog and it was 10 degrees this morning when I woke up. Brrrrr!

i keep a spare set of flats under my desk for days where i wear boots/something uncomfy on my feet to work. which is great, until i wear flats to work. and then kick them off while i'm at my desk. and then don't look down when putting on shoes to get up. and then taadaaaaaa at some point in the day i look down at my feet and i'm wearing one of the white flats i wore to work, and one of the black ones i keep here.

I'm wearing an old pair of argyle socks I stole from my dad when I was in high school. They're gray with navy, maroon and white argyle design. They're a little too big for my feet.
