I like the kind of monkey that scratchs their butt and throws their poo because lets face it, that's funny.
Spider Monkey FTW. Is there a cooler monkey out there? I think not.
No question the Bonobo. The way they greet each other is with 10-15 seconds of sex and even the guys "penis fence" as a greeting. The entire group raises all of the children because with all that sex there is no idea who the actual parents are. This means there is almost no fighting within the tribe because there isn't a dominant figure that mates with all the females.
I want to be a bonobo.
I used to be a fan of the red-butt kind, but i think I now prefer the tiny ones who can sit on my shoulder. They are especially good for pickpocketing.

If there was a pink monkey, that would be my favorite. or you know what, I'll just dye the cute little guy's hair that way. But I wouldn't put clothes on him or treat him like a person because those people are FREAKS!
After Narm's comment I think I am going to have to research the bonobo. But I love howler monkeys. And the Stove Monkey Flambee shirt :)
my favorite is the chimpanzee.. they are cute, small and would make a great pet. :)
My favorite monkey is the Spectacled Langur. They're so adorable. They look like they're wearing glasses because of the way their fur is gone around their eyes. The males are kind of douchey, but that seems to be the case across most species.
Also, Bonobos and Chimps aren't monkeys, they're apes. That's the anthropologist in me talking, but I couldn't shut her up.

My favorite is the Capuchin Monkey. They're famous for their swinging skills, and also for being the little guys frequently wearing a fez and turning a little music crank. They're the shit, yo.
And I, too, second Narm on the Bonobos as well. They love them some sex, and they go gay, straight, and bi. They are, to put it simply, AMAZING.
pygmy marmosets are the cutest monkeys. The pictures of the twins that were born at Sweden's Froso Zoo are the sweetest I have ever seen. Who can resist? Jessy

My favorite monkee is Micky Dolenz because he sang all the good songs while Davy Jones skated along relying on just being "the cute one."
My favorite kind of monkey is red, plastic and has arms that look like they're in the music video for "Walking Like an Egyptian" by the Bangles.
Common in toy stores, they travel in groups and are sold in barrels.
I love primates! I was an anthropology major in college so I am partial to the Great Apes (Gorillas, Orangatans, Chimps, and Bonobos!).

The spider monkey is pretty badass looking. Mischievious and slightly creepy. It does it for me.

My favorite kind of monkey is the howler monkey because they're super super loud. Also because they're the cutest monkeys at the zoo. Plus when I was little I decided to name my favorite stuffed monkey 'Monkeybob the howler monkey'.
