i'm thankful that my cold symptoms haven't escalated into anything serious. 10 hours of sleep probably helped.
ps - We're also thankful for The Food Network, so we can absorb the wisdom of our favorite celebrity chefs (Giada, Ina, Jamie, etc. etc.) and then reference their recipes later for free.
i'm thankful that the Browns don't have to play Alabama this season. it would be awfully embarrassing getting beaten by the SEC.
pss - Best of all, we're incredibly thankful that we can enjoy cooking TOGETHER. It's a team building exercise that never gets old - it's fun, challenging, and something that we can feel proud about once we sample (and enjoy) the finished product :)

Also - were super thankful for daylight savings time so we gained another hour of sleep.
I guess we're thankful for our cell phones reliable alarms so we do not OVER sleep. . .
And that brings us to our annoying yet lovable 16 yr old cat who is a "fail safe" alarm that wakes us up at 6:30am regardless of what day it is. . .
Soo THANK YOU, Bailey, for being hungry at the break of dawn and so very vocal - we will never oversleep or be late to ever work again!
Oh yes - thank God that although Jose is an EXTREME snorr-er that I am an incredibly deep sleeper. Otherwise, that might have been a deal breaker ;)
