Have you entered to win two tickets to the Cleveland Foodbank Taste of the Browns event yet? No? What are you waiting for?!? Comment on this post to win! ____________________________________________________________________

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could register for life?

Forget wedding registries, forget baby registries, I want to register just because.

Everyone needs presents, everyone loves to open pretty boxes and everyone needs to feel special now and again.

And
I know I'm not the only person out there who day dreams (especially while browsing Pinterst) about if they could make a list of items knowing that money was no option that - viola! - could be theirs.

Well I just made extravagant that list.

Here's my life registry list (in no particular order) as of today, because I can.

The Dom Perignon Power Trio gift set entails a trio of Rose 1998, Oenetheque 1995 and Blanc Vintage 2000 - pass the crystal flute..... for approximately $1,200.

Frye Women's Dorado Riding Boot - talley ho!.... for $458.

KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer in Chrome - cookies anyone?.... for $350.

Chloe Patent Leather and Python Pumps - three martini lunch, extra dirty please.... for $595.

Diane von Furstenberg Kaitlin Woven Leather Shoulder Bag - yes, I'll carry your keys for you Seanski.... for $795

2012 Volvo S60 - watch out pot holes..... for approximately $38,000.

I can dream, right?

Feel free to buy me any of the above items anything, you guys.

So what's on your life registry list today?

  2. Since I think I'm doomed to be a dowager, I've made an "MBA Registry" on which I've put things I want as graduation presents and move into a Big Girl house. I've got some basic housing/cooking staples, and a few pieces of art, too.

  4. I love this concept. Being a homo can be hard, you guys. I can't get married, which means no wedding registry and unfortunately I do not want kids, so no baby shower. I need to do this ASAP. Watch out CB2!

Also, I LOVE that you mentioned my keys in your purse. This bag would do.

Lastly, when are we going to the Volvo dealership on Brookpark. Just saw a white S60 last night and I drooled a little.

  5. You need a kitchenaid mixer. Really. No kitchen is complete without one. Treat yourself. I promise you won't regret it.

  6. At some point during my single-dom, I remember hearing about women in their 30s making registries for gift ideas, despite not having a hubby-to-be.

Right now, I'd register for a full night of uninterrupted sleep. =)

  10. Highly interesting that those Frye boots are on your list...because I was just drooling over these http://www.thefryecompany.com/womens-boots/view-all/76845/dorado-low yesterday!

Also on my list is a kitchen renovation, I think that should be allowed on a registry too :)

  16. Love it! And I definitely, definitely want a life registry. For me, I'd be adding a bunch of random camera gear that I don't really have an excuse to purchase now and more random/ridiculous kitchen stuff, probably including a fancy pants set of knives. Just because.

And I definitely, definitely recommend the stand mixer. Got one this summer with a bunch of gift cards from our wedding registry, and it has yet to disappoint.
