Jump Back Ball 2012

Monday, February 27, 2012

It was Jump Back Ball weekend at PlayhouseSquare in Cleveland which by default made it a great one.

It (JBB weekend) usually involves a wicked hangover on Sunday, but it's well worth the headache I'm experiencing while watching the Oscar's Red Carpet.

On that note, let's just post some pic of the fabulous evening that was Jump Back Ball so I can get back to my Angelo's Pizza.

Before we headed to PlayhouseSquare a group of us got together at the Wyndham Hotel in Lzone and Kelly's room for bubbles and shenanigans. The boys and girls shot really does make me feel like we were at an adult prom.

Some of my beautiful friends rocking their JBB best.

Every Jump Back Ball has a theme, this year was Through The Looking Glass and the Alice and Wonderland costumes and motifs were a plenty. The dude in the pink bunny costume? I have no idea who he is but was speechless when I saw him.

I had a fan moment when I got to meet Alan Cox (of the Alan Cox Show on WMMS) and his girlfriend Gwen (top left) - I mean I do listen to him everyday Mon-Fri. The other three pics are of my friends being gorgeous and handsome respectively.

Here's Allison, me and Shibani trying to take a nice picture of the three of us while CK photo bombs us.

The party continued after #jbb21 to Tina's Nite Club where I may or may not have karaoked Bohemian Rhapsody, very badly.

It was yet another successful Jump Back Ball - good work PlayhouseSquare, you guys never cease to amaze. My only complaint is there were so many friends that I didn't see - the State Theater is huge and when you're with 750+ other people roaming about no wonder you miss people.

And I'm officially already thinking about next year.

Good times, kids, good times - happy Monday!

  3. The guy in the pink bunny costume appears to be the same guy who was dressed as a TSA agent last year, complete with scanning wand. He wins.

  8. Thanks for sharing your photos, especially those of the folks in costumes - that was my favorite part of last year's event. And I would have had the same Alan Cox fan moment as you!

  10. Jamie Moyer will be called up to the bigs. Tragically, when he tries to sneak a fast ball past a dangerous slugger his entire arm will fly off and hit the batter for a Hit by Pitch.
