While roaming the exhibit halls all I could think about was how flippin' fly the museum is and how everyone needs to take an afternoon and walk through it - you guys know IT'S FREE to the public, right? So, go, like now.
After our meeting the group headed to L'Albatros Brasserie for some malbec and noshing where I may or may not have eaten my weight in chicken liver and fois gras.
The night was filled with good company, amazing surroundings and lots of ideas - nothing like a new project to get one excited, right?
Happy Thursday, kids.
hey I worked gallery 220-222 last night (where Degas is)! Except they kept sending me to relieve people.
ReplyDelete@clevelandpoet - bummer i wish i would have seen you, don't you worry, i'll be back soon :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place! Hope all is well!
ReplyDeleteI need to visit soon! Plus Degas is there.
ReplyDeleteLove supporting the museum and excited to hear more about this new group!
ReplyDeleteMy spouse & I are trying to research an old, Japanese cigarette case that is truly a gem of art, depicting a Samurai on his horse, both in full battle-dress.
