Playing the spoons at the casino

I blame the following photo for not posting about Naples yet....

My hot date Alana and I headed to the Cleveland Magazine Silver Spoon Awards Party last night. We drank lots of "purple drank", we ate lots of amazing nomz, saw lots of amazing friends and then we headed to the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland.

For the record, I lost $100 in approximately three quarters of an hour.

But I'll give that hundo to you, Horseshoe Casino... this time, because handing it over to you for the very first time was all sorts of fun - but don't get used to it.

Happy Thursday, kids.

  1. Whoopsie!

Pretty sure we acted like our money was Monopoly money!

But I'd do it again in a heartbeat - fun night!

  2. And this is why Jay and I went straight home instead of to the casino. :)

  4. we drove by after the marathon and there was no line to get in as I have been reading. i noticed a tall, lanky, disheveled man, with a case of the shakes, completely unstable, and barely making it to the door as we were stuck at the looooong light in front.

He was happily greeted by the gentleman working the door in his bow tie and ushered thru the velvet rope.. I thought "awwwe, everyone is welcome here"

  5. After Silver Spoon was over, my aunt and I were surprised to see the line out the door of the casino - 11PM on a Wednesday night! We're in a new era in downtown Cleveland...

    Lovely seeing you on Wednesday!

  6. I have the same shirt as Alana...AND I've been trying to find a cute bottom to wear it with. I never even thought of yellow, but it looks too cute! I may or may not steal that look. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all : )

  7. Looks like tons of fun! We've yet to attempt a trip to the casino. We walked past and didn't want to wait in line, but I'm going to have to go soon!
