I'm not a huge beer fan, per say, but I love a good seasonal brew. Abita makes one for every season, and in the spring, they make strawberry beer (with REAL strawberries!)

This Christmas ale sounds amazing. It's a shame they don't offer it down here...

Yes, Christmas Ale out of the bottle is fabulous... however, when it comes out of the tap - in a larger than life glass... your in trouble! (*not that I speak from experience...) ;-)

Hmmm I usually don't like beer but maybe i'll have to try when i go home for christmas! theres this great place in ann arbor that serves all these REALLY random beers (the edmund fitzgerald, some blueberry one that i actually like...we go there and get shitfaced trying all the beers.)

I don't love the Christmas ale. But I will attest to its potency. It only takes a couple to get the boys tipsy! Plus, you usually get that really cute glass with them at the bar (ie; winking lizard)that has that cute wagon with the bulbs in it on the glass!

I didn't realize Great Lakes was from Cleveland. I LOVE their Edmund Fitzgerald. My favorite bar in Indiana keeps it on tap. I will DEFINITELY check out the Christmas ale!
