I am an avid movie goer, I love movies. I am not a big sports fan. That being said, I wasn't excited to view this movie, I only went because Alexa wanted to, the rest of our group opted out...ha. To my surprise it was sooo much better than I ever anticipated and I did enjoy it. And yes, we did get a bit weepy.

I have never heard about this movie, but now, I have to see it. However, in college, my now-fiance played in the NCAA tournament in Cleveland (a long time ago!). Lebron happened to be friends with one of our other players and came to our team dinner. The team (minus his friend) didn't have great things to say about him. He was pretty rude (to put it nicely). I hope he was just having a bad day, because he seems like a good guy, otherwise!

Wow. I can't say I've ever even contemplated watching a documentary about basketball, but this post has piqued my curiosity to dangerous levels. I think I'm going to check it out.

I'm also directly relying on this post (and, hopefully, a viewing of the film, but that is neither here nor there) to make up my mind for my highly competitive annual Oscar Pool. If pressed, I may or may not rattle off whole sentences of your commentary in a pretentious tone to scorn my fellow Oscar-watchers who haven't seen any of the docs... ;-)
